Health Practitioner Certification
Full Embodiment
North America
The deepest transformations begin when we slow down, pay attention, and courageously turn toward ourselves, one another, and life with curiosity, compassion, and presence. The deepest transformations begin when we slow down, pay attention, and courageously turn toward ourselves, one another, and life with curiosity, compassion, and presence.
The North American Full Embodiment Health Practitioner Certification is a transformational, retreat-style professional training for coaches, therapists, bodyworkers, healers, educators, and practitioners who feel called to support others in cultivating deeper embodiment, intimacy, resilience, and human flourishing.
Grounded in the understanding that we cannot authentically guide others where we have not first been willing to go ourselves, this multi-module training places personal practice at the heart of professional development. Participants are invited to become devoted practitioners of their own lives, cultivating the awareness, capacity, and lived experience that naturally informs how they serve others.
Co-created by Eric Wallace and Jaime Williams, under the mentorship of Ariel Giaretto, the North American program is rooted in five interwoven pillars: Earth-Based Wisdom, Somatic Awareness, Relational Intimacy, Sensual & Erotic Intelligence, and Embodied Living.
The journey begins with Earth-Based Wisdom—an invitation to remember where we come from before considering where we are going. Through practices of presence, place-making, deep listening, ecological awareness, and connection with the living world, participants cultivate the foundation from which the remaining pillars naturally unfold. Together, these pillars weave modern neuroscience, nervous system regulation, attachment theory, Somatic Experiencing®, and developmental psychology with the enduring wisdom of the natural world, the intelligence of the body, and the transformative power of relationship, beauty, pleasure, and connection.
Within this training, sensuality, sexuality, relationality, and eroticism are explored not simply as aspects of intimate relationships, but as expressions of human vitality, creativity, connection, belonging, and our innate life force. Sexuality is understood as far more than sexual behavior; it is explored as a creative, relational, and life-affirming intelligence that shapes how we experience ourselves, connect with others, create meaning, and participate more fully in life.
Participants deepen their capacity to regulate the nervous system, cultivate secure attachment, expand their capacity for intimacy, and embody the presence needed to support meaningful transformation in others. Rather than viewing trauma, shame, or relational challenges as problems to overcome, Full Embodiment approaches what has been "touched" or "awakened" as an invitation into greater awareness, resilience, integration, and connection. Through immersive retreats, experiential practices, reflective inquiry, and group process, participants cultivate the embodied presence, relational capacity, and ecological awareness that allow authentic transformation to unfold—from the inside out.
More than a professional certification, Full Embodiment is an invitation to remember what it means to be fully alive. It is a lifelong practice of returning to the wisdom of the body, the courage of intimacy, the intelligence of pleasure, and the deep belonging that allows life to flourish.
The next North American Full Embodiment Health Practitioner Certification will launch in late summer/early fall 2027. Additional details, locations, and registration information will be shared in the months ahead.
JAIME WILIAMS
Believing that our relationship with sexuality, intimacy, and embodiment shapes every aspect of how we move through the world, Jaime Williams approaches her work with a rare combination of warmth, rigor, playfulness, and profound curiosity. She understands sexuality not simply as behavior or identity, but as a life force that animates creativity, intimacy, belonging, purpose, and our capacity to feel fully alive.
Jaime doesn't position herself as someone who has arrived at the answers, but as a fellow explorer, walking beside those she works with as they gently unwind the places where trauma, culture, and survival have narrowed their range of who they get to be. Presence, compassion, and a deep respect for the intelligence of the body, create the conditions for people to hear the wisdom that has been there all along. So often we're flooded with messages about what love should look like, what sex should feel like, and who we're supposed to become. Somewhere beneath all that noise, we lose the sound of our own knowing. Rather than helping people become someone else, Jaime helps them uncover what has always been true beneath conditioning, trauma, and survival. Her approach is shaped as much by life as by professional training.
Jaime earned a B.A. in English and Theatre while building meaningful relationships with unhoused people in Santa Barbara, California. Those experiences led her into years of nonprofit work, first supporting unhoused families and later working alongside communities impacted by HIV/AIDS in the San Francisco Bay Area. Throughout every chapter of her life, she has been a builder of community; teaching workshops, facilitating conversations, speaking at festivals, and writing as a way to make meaning of being human.
Motherhood brought another profound teacher. After moving to a beautiful piece of land in the Sierra foothills of Northern California, Jaime immersed herself in writing, bodywork, and energy work while navigating the joys and heartbreaks of a fourteen-year marriage. Through it all, the land became both sanctuary and midwife, showing her patience, reciprocity, and the quiet intelligence of living in relationship: with herself, with others, and with the natural world.
Jaime began coaching in 2014 and specialized in sex and intimacy in 2016 as a certified Somatica® Method Practitioner. In 2023, she became a Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner (SEP), expanding her work through the lens of nervous system health and trauma resolution. Today, she integrates intimacy coaching, attachment theory, somatic awareness, sexuality, sensuality, and embodied practice to help individuals and partnerships of all relationship styles create relationships that are emotionally connected, erotically alive, and authentic. Whether in weekly sessions or immersive two-day intensives, Jaime is continually humbled by her clients' willingness to dive into the delicious complexity of intentional relationships.
She welcomes people across relationship structures, identities, orientations, and expressions, recognizing that our erotic lives are inseparable from how we love, create, grieve, lead, and belong. Sexuality is not simply something we do; it is one expression of how fully we inhabit ourselves.
Jaime is also a teacher, speaker, and writer. She is the author of the memoir Dancing Naked in the Snow and has worked as an assistant working with students in both Somatica and Somatic Experiencing for a combination of four years. As well as co-leading the assistant team with her dear friend Eric Wallace for the pilot certification program of Full Embodiment.
Stepping into this next adventure as co-creator, alongside Eric Wallace, of the North American Full Embodiment practitioner training, brings a unified progression to both of their paths. Guided by the decades-long vision of Ariel Giarretto, Full Embodiment explores the intersection of sexuality, sensuality, eroticism, nervous system health, and relational intelligence, Eric and Jaime feel honored to step from being mentored by Ariel for years, into co-teaching.
Together, Jaime and Eric have expanded this work into an offering incorporating eco-eroticism and Root Erotic Desire, a system that helps practitioners and individuals understand that many of us learn how to be wanted long before we learn how to recognize what we genuinely want. Jaime and Eric’s work invites people back into that conversation with themselves, where desire becomes less about performance and more about relationship: with the body, with others, with the earth, and with life itself. All buoyed by the understanding that embodiment is not simply a modality to practice, but a way of living. Pleasure isn't the reward for healing; it's part of the healing.
She lives in the Sierra foothills, where her practice is surrounded by oak trees, rivers, and a vibrant community. Her three grown children remain among her greatest teachers. When she isn't coaching, teaching or writing, you'll likely find her making mischief in rivers, dancing at festivals, or gathering with people that remind us that connection is one of life's greatest adventures.

ERIC WALLACE
Eric Wallace is a Lifestyle & Embodiment Guide, mentor, educator, and lifelong student of the relationships that allow human beings to flourish.
For more than forty years, Eric has explored the intersection of somatic practice, ecology, evolutionary biology, nervous system resilience, intimacy, contemplative traditions, and nature-based living. His work is rooted in the understanding that embodiment extends beyond the individual—it is expressed through our relationships with ourselves, one another, our communities, and the living Earth.
Over the past few years, Eric has served as a teaching assistant for Ariel Giaretto with her Somatic Experiencing® training as well as her co-lead assistant along with Jaime Williams in the Full Embodiment Health Practitioner Training. During this time, he has helped support both students and assistants in developing the practical skills, relational presence, and embodied awareness that form the heart of the Full Embodiment approach.
As Ariel passes the North American Full Embodiment Health Practitioner Training into its next chapter, Eric is honored to continue stewarding this work alongside his teaching partner, Jaime Williams. Together they are expanding the curriculum while remaining deeply rooted in the principles that have made Full Embodiment such a transformative approach for practitioners around the world. Eric's unique contribution brings an ecological lens to embodiment, integrating eco-philosophy, eco- psychology, eco-sexuality, neuroscience, evolutionary biology, traditional cultural wisdom, and decades of experience in somatic practice and education.
His work explores what he calls The Ecology of Intimacy—a philosophy of human flourishing rooted in the understanding that life flourishes through relationship. By cultivating deeper relationships with ourselves, one another, and the living Earth, we create the conditions in which embodiment, healing, resilience, and flourishing naturally unfold. At the heart of this ecology lies our shared, innate human need for safety, belonging, and authentic connection.
Whether facilitating professional trainings, mentoring practitioners, or guiding individuals and couples, Eric creates learning environments that invite curiosity, humility, play, and authentic connection. His teaching is experiential, relational, and grounded in the belief that wisdom is cultivated not only through knowledge, but through lived experience.
Outside the classroom, Eric is an avid naturalist, adventurer, birder, sailor, cyclist, swimmer, and lover of poetry, music, dance, art, food, intimacy, moving slowly, the space between and meaningful conversation. These are not simply personal passions—they are practices that continually deepen his understanding of what it means to live a fully embodied life.
